Jake Popson Brookville PA Obituary, Death:- Jacob “Jake” Henry Popson, 19, of Brookville, PA passed away on March 16, 2025, due to injuries sustained in a car accident. Born on November 4, 2005, in DuBois, PA, he was the beloved son of Jamie (Delamotte) Popson and the late Joshua Popson, Sr.
Jake graduated from Brookville High School in 2024, an achievement he humorously acknowledged. Following high school, he worked as a self-contractor in various jobs, including working alongside his grandfather, sharing their family’s passion.
Jake’s adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors defined him. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding, and participating in demolition derbies, but he was much more than his hobbies.
He thrived on spending time with family and friends, often stirring up fun and mischief. His compassionate nature, boundless energy, and unwavering loyalty made him a cherished son, brother, grandson, and friend.
A natural entertainer, Jake had a knack for bringing joy to those around him. His sense of humor, playful pranks, and infectious personality lit up every room. He was deeply devoted to his loved ones, always checking in on family and friends.
His close-knit circle of friends was like family, and he was always there for them, just as they were for him. Jake’s passing leaves a deep void, but his impact on those who knew him ensures his memory will live on.
He is survived by his mother, Jamie Popson; siblings Jared (his twin), Josh, Janelle, and Tye Phares; his grandparents; and his devoted friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father and great-grandparents.
Family and friends will gather to honor Jake’s life on March 18, 2025, at the First Church of God in Brookville, PA. A funeral service will be held on March 19, officiated by Pastor Sam Wilson. Private interment will follow. Arrangements are entrusted to Carrier Funeral Home.
